AudioDefine Records is excited to release Into The Stratosphere, the debut album from synthpop newcomers Sunsetron. This Exclusive NativeDSD Edition features both the standard and instrumental version of the album.
Into the Stratosphere was premiered in May of 2022, receiving widespread acclaim by listeners appreciating the dreamy electronic compositions, hypnotic vocals, and trance-like production. We didn’t want to rush the release of the DSD version, so we spent a little extra time refining the mix of the Analog Masters used for transfer into the DSD domain, with the utmost attention paid to delivering the highest quality possible with today’s technology.
As with the releases from HELIXIRx and Empty Triangles through our sub-label Same Great Sound Productions, we’ve taken the familiar sound of 80s synthesizers, drum machines and effects processors and given them the modern-day treatment through digital converters.
We’re once again proud to affirm our loyalty by releasing the DSD analog transfer exclusively through our good friends at NativeDSD and the supporters who have purchased our earlier DSD releases! This DSD version of the album is exclusively available at NativeDSD in Stereo DSD 512, DSD 256, DSD 128 and DSD 64. It is not available on SACD.

The creativity of this group in synthesizers and voice is just amazing and perfect. This album is a great listen and I’ll happily purchase more Sunsetron DSD albums in the future. They should be rewarded for their fine work.

I don’t even have a DSD system or decent audio hardware. But the Exclusive NativeDSD Edition of the album is so much better then the normal edition.
