A worthy follow-up to the first album. The synths sound as good as ever!

I don’t know if it was intentional or not to give it a specific sound, but there is a lot of hiss in the background of most of the tracks on this album. It’s a great album, super fun to listen to, but so much of it ends up with me annoyed at what sounds like cassette hiss when things get quiet.
At first I thought it was my hardware, and I went through playing all sorts of other songs and formats and using different headphones and cables and playing it off my PC and my Walkman and in the end it was just the music had hiss.
If it wasn’t intentional, that seems sloppy. If it was intentional, i cannot think of any reason you’d want that. Sort of like how some music will have fake vinyl popping and such at the start, that’s kind of fun and it goes away after the intro, but this is just hiss through the entire thing.
Not impressed, trying to figure out how to get rid of that hiss myself so it’s enjoyable to listen to.
